SHC suspends order to exhume body of Aamir Liaquat for postmortem

Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday suspended the orders for the exhumation of famous televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s body for postmortem to ascertain the cause of his death.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s son and daughter have filed a constitutional petition in the Sindh High Court against the order of the Judicial Magistrate to exhume the body of Aamir Liaquat for postmortem.
The petition also seeks to stop the postmortem of Amir Liaquat and fix the petition for immediate hearing.
A two-member bench of the Sindh High Court hear the petition of Amir Liaquat Hussain’s children and suspended the orders to exhume body of Aamir Liaquat.
Earlier, The Judicial Magistrate had ordered exhumation of Aamir Liaquat’s body for autopsy.
Prominent TV host and MNA Aamir Liaquat was found unconscious in his room on June 9. Amir Liaquat was rushed to hospital where his death was confirmed.
