SHC orders immediate ban on TikTok across Pakistan
Respresentational Image

Sindh High Court has ordered to put an immediate ban on the famous video-sharing app ‘TikTok’ while issuing a notice to the attorney general of Pakistan on Monday (today).

This is the third time the app is going to be banned after the previous ban was lifted around three months ago.

The ruling came during a hearing, where the court directed the attorney general to follow the orders and get the app banned.

It was argued that Peshawar High Court had earlier banned TikTok as some videos uploaded on the platform were “immoral and against the teachings of Islam.”

However, the court has summoned the parties involved in the case on July 8.
