‘Sharjeel will be a winning addition,’ says Babar Azam

Pakistan men’s national cricket team Captain Babar Azam has said that left-handed batsman Sharjeel Khan is in form and will be a winning addition to the Pakistan side.

While addressing a virtual press conference on Friday the Captain says that Sharjeel Khan is working on his fitness.

“I take decision for the team not for individuals,” remarks Azam as he backs the returning opener to deliver despite concerns over his fitness.

Speaking about the upcoming tour of South Africa, he has said that team will try to carry forward the winning momentum it gained from the recently-concluded series against South Africa in Pakistan.
