Sharjah skyscraper catches fire

SHARJAH: A massive fire engulfed upper floors of 48-storey skyscraper in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday. The fire was doused after a battle of several hours.
It took several drones, more than a dozen fire trucks, and scores of firefighters to put out the blaze that swept through Abbco Tower in Al-Nahda, Sharjah. Cooling operation was underway at the time of filing of the report.
No casualty has been reported, while seven old people have been admitted to hospital for treatment of breathing difficulties. 250 families were safely evacuated.
