KARACHI: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other accused have been indicted in a case of illegal recruitment in PSO.

According to details, the accountability court heard the case of illegal recruitment in PSO in Karachi. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Secretary Petroleum Arshad Mirza and others appeared before the court.

The court indicted Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other accused. However, the accused pleaded not guilty in the courtroom, after which the court on August 27 ordered the NAB officer and witnesses to be produced.

It should be noted that former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has sought interim bail from the Islamabad High Court in reference to illegal recruitment.
