Shahid Afridi includes Fakhar, Haris in ODI probables squad against New Zealand

PCB’s interim selection committee chief Shahid Afridi on Friday added two more players, Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail, in the list of probables for the upcoming three-match one-day international (ODI) series against New Zealand.
In a tweet, PCB Interim chief selector confirmed the inclusion of both the players saying, “We have added Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail to the New Zealand probables list after they passed their fitness tests today.”
Afridi informed that Fakhar and Haris are playing in the Pakistan Cup and both are ‘doing well’.
Sharjeel Khan and Shan Masood, who played against Australia in the UAE in 2019, have also been included in the probables list.
After the inclusion of these two players, the total number of probables for the ODI series against New Zealand has jumped to 24. A final 16-member squad will be announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) next week.
The ODI matches are scheduled to be played at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi on Jan 9, 11 and 13.
