Shahid Afridi announced to go to Afghanistan
KARACHI: Former Pakistan cricket team star all-rounder and captain Shahid Khan Afridi has announced to go to Afghanistan for welfare activities.
The former national player said that the world-renowned Shahid Khan Afridi Foundation wants to serve in Afghanistan for welfare purposes as well. The foundation has responded positively to the call from the Afghan government in this regard.
According to social media reports, Shahid Afridi further said that he was waiting for documents to go to Afghanistan for which he was in touch with the Afghan embassy in Pakistan.
On the other hand, Shahid Khan Afridi shared a tweet of his organization on Twitter. Shahid Afridi wrote in his tweet that it is very important to help the weak in times of trouble.
The all-rounder also expressed happiness over the Shahid Khan Afridi Foundation’s relief work in Afghanistan in a tweet.
