Shaheen Shah Afridi wants Messi to lift FIFA World Cup trophy
The final of the FIFA World Cup is set to be played on Sunday between Argentina and the defending champions France.
During the draft of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) scheduled in Karachi, Lahore Qalandars skipper Shaheen revealed his favorite football player.
Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi are both among the great and outstanding footballers, but Shaheen is a fan of ‘Messi’.
Responding to the question about his favorite football player, Afridi said: “I love Messi, and I want Argentina to win.”
Previously, it was revealed that most of Pakistan team players are fans of Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to opener Imam-ul-Haq, only Saud Shakeel is a fan of Argentine legend Lionel Messi.
