Lahore: Lahore Qalandars captain and fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi played a brilliant innings in the 30th match of Pakistan Super League 7 which refreshed the memory of Shahid Afridi.
The Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi had a tough match at the Gaddafi Stadium yesterday, where the Lahore team struggled to chase 159 runs while Shaheen Afridi leveled the team’s score by 158 with his aggressive batting.
Shaheen Afridi scored 39 off 20 balls, including four sixes and two fours.
Shaheen hit a four and three sixes in the last over to tie the match which led to the match in super over. This bold style of the Shaheen Afridi not only impressed the cricket fans but also his father-in-law star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi.
Shahid Afridi shared a picture of his and Shaheen Afridi in the same style and also described Shaheen’s innings as beautiful in the style of Rameez Raja’s commentary.
Fans were amused by Shaheen’s aggressive style and called Shaheen the future’s Shahid Afridi.

Lahore Qalandars will play Multan Sultans in the playoffs on Wednesday. The winning team will qualify for the final while the losing team will get another chance.
The losing team from Lahore and Multan will face the winner of the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad and the winning team will play in the final.
