Shahbaz Sharif terms resigning from PML-N news as ‘fake’
The PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif rejected the news regarding his resignation from PML-N and termed it as “fake”, on Sunday.
The revealation was made during an interview conducted by an private news channel.
During the interview, Shahbaz stated, ” When I was finally allowed to speak during the budget session, after four days of chaos, I said the budget is a fake one since the people’s pockets are empty.”
“Just like the budget, this news report is also fake,” he further added.
Moreover, Shahbaz revealed that he was offered the prime ministership twice, once by former president Ghulam Ishaq Khan and later, by military dictator General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf.
While talking about Imran Khan and his government, Shahbaz stated that he has only brought inflation and economic destruction to the country.
When Shahbaz Sharif was asked a question regarding opposition party Pakistam Democratic Movement (PDM), he said it was formed and even broke up while he was in jail, so he has nothing to do with its breakup.
