Shahbaz Sharif presents No-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan in NA

The agenda of the assembly session also included a No-Confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan which was tabled in the House with the permission of Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.

Shahbaz Sharif moved a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan after which the Deputy Speaker National Assembly adjourned the sitting till Thursday, March 31 and said that the no-confidence motion would be debated on March 31.
The National Assembly is scheduled to reconvene on March 31 at 4 p.m.
The National Assembly session began under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and when the no-confidence motion was tabled against Prime Minister Imran Khan, neither the government allies nor the PTI dissident members were present in the house.
According to the rules, a no-confidence motion cannot be voted before three days, but after three days and within seven days.
Opposition groups called for a boycott of the by-elections, saying they had more members than required.
On the other hand, the government also claims that it will be successful in defeating the opposition in the no-confidence motion.
