Shadab Khan ruled out of South Africa, Zimbabwe tours

PRETORIA: Shadab Khan has been ruled out from further participation in the South Africa and Zimbabwe tours after suffering a left toe injury while batting during the second One-Day International that has sidelined him for up to four weeks.
X-rays conducted following the match revealed an “intra articular communicated fracture” though there is neither any displacement nor angulation. The injury will be treated conservatively and Shadab will undergo a four-week rehab, said the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a statement.
On Mar 25, the Pakistan’s cricket squad had left for South Africa via a chartered flight to play three One-Day Internationals and four Twenty20 Internationals.
Their departure was confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board on its official Twitter account.
The ODI series against South Africa is tie after Pakistan won the first match and lost the second.
