Shabbar Zaidi rejects news of his resignation as chairman FBR

ISLAMABAD: Shabbar Zaidi has repudiated the report of his resignation as chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) allegedly because of long lingering ailment.

Earlier, media reports claimed that he had resigned from his post. He had gone on leaves for a second time on Jan 31. Doctors have recommended him to take rest. He was appointed on the top post of the FBR in May 2019.
