Several shops and markets were sealed Thursday in Lahore for not implementing SOPs from the government.

To avoid further spread of coronavirus, the government had given these SOPs to shopkeepers to obey. These include activities such as making in-store hand sanitiser accessible and ensuring that social distance is preserved.

Forty-five shops have been sealed in Shah Alam Road, and seven in Chongi Amar Sidhu.

The Lahore deputy commissioner said today (Thursday) a crackdown will be carried out in the markets of Shalimar, Cantt and Raiwind.

District administration has organized 10 teams to test shopkeepers if they have been infected.
