PESHAWAR: An awareness week is being observed in Peshawar regarding implementation of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of coronavirus.
Under observance of the week, the local administration launched a crackdown against those who violated the SOPs. At least 64 citizens were fined. Various transport stations were inspected across the metropolis. Office of Sania Express was sealed, while four schools in Gulbahar area were also sealed for violation of COVID-19 SOPs.
Two schools were sealed in Afghan Colony, whereas scores of shopkeepers were arrested across the length and breadth of the city.
The local administration representatives also lauded the traders who ensured implementation of coronavirus SOPs.
