Dead body of a seven-year-old girl was found on Wednesday night from an empty plot in a village in Okara.

According to the victim’s uncle, the girl was murdered and her body was dumped outside his house.

An investigation has been initiated by the police. No torture marks have been found on the girl’s body, said law enforcers.

“She left the house before evening prayers and we found her body after half an hour. Somebody killed her and left her body near our house,” the child’s maternal uncle said.

One of the police officials said that there were only three scratches found on the girl’s body but no torture marks. He told that a medical report will reveal the cause of death.
