Seven-Day anti-polio campaign to start in Sindh today
Sindh Health Department has said that anti-polio campaign will start on Monday [today] in all 29 districts of Sindh. All preparations have been made for the seven-day Anti-Polio drive in Sindh.
According to the health department, more than 8 million children in Sindh will be vaccinated in the anti-polio drive starting today.
The health department said that a target has been set to vaccinate 2.2 million children in Karachi.
According to the health department, not a single case of polio has been reported in Sindh this year while 3 cases of polio have been reported in the country this year.
The anti-polio drive will continue for a week.
The workers of the anti-polio campaign had been given the necessary protective gear for their protection against coronavirus infection, and they had been briefed on the precautions against harsh weather conditions.
