Security guard sentenced to death for murdering bank manager

The security guard who gunned down the bank manager, Muhammad Imran Hanif in Sargodha, has been granted death penalty.
Court has also sentenced him to jail for 12 years and imposed a penalty of 1.1 million.
According to the details, the security guard, Ahmed Nawaz gunned down the bank manager on personal dispute in November, 2020.
The guard had had quarrel with the manager earlier as well and once the officer of National Bank of Pakistan had suspended him from job.
Later, Ahmed Nawaz claimed that he opened fire on him for his alleged blasphemy.
Muhammad Imran Hanif was shifted to a hospital in injured condition but he succumbed to his wounds later.
