Second wave of Coronavirus more dangerous than first wave: Firdous Awan

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister for Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Friday said that second wave of COVID-19 was more dangerous than the first wave.
“The people should wear masks to protect themselves,” she asked in a statement issued from Lahore.
She said the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was holding public gatherings and putting human lives in danger for their own interest.
Fifty-five more people died of Coronavirus in Pakistan over the last 24 hours.
According to the latest statistics, 3,262 tested positive for COVID-19 during the last twenty-four hours after the tests of 44,627 people.
The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 350,305. There are now 51,507 active cases in the country.
