 Second COVID-19 wave: Pakistan witnesses highest number of fatalities in one day

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has witnessed the highest death rate in one day in the second wave of coronavirus so far.

Seventy-five more people died of COVID-19 in the country over the last 24 hours.

According to the latest statistics, 2,829 people tested positive for coronavirus during the last 24 hours after the tests of 35,197 people.

The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 345,365. There are now 49,780 active cases in the country.
