KARACHI: The schools in Karachi will remain closed till 6th of June until further notification by the Sindh Government.
The Government of Sindh has announced that school will stay closed till June 6 in 12 districts. Those districts include Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawab shah, Dadu, and Badin.
According to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, corona virus cases have been increased during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
Moreover, the covd-19 positivity rate in Karachi was 13.97%. The highest number of cases were reported in District East.
Furthermore, educational institutions in Islamabad, 20 districts of Punjab, 19 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan will resume classes from Monday, May 24.
Earlier, the National Command and Operational Centre announced opening of schools in the districts with less than 5% positivity ratio.
