KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that schools might not reopen in Pakistan from January 2021.
According to Saeed Ghani, the second wave of Covid-19 has gripped the country and there were extremely minimum chances of reopening the educational organisations.
The educational institutes were shut down in November as a result of the instructions received from National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
On the contrary, Shafqat Mehmood, the federal education minister directed the schools to conduct online classes and further informed that the ongoing term will last till 24th December, whereas winter break will begin from 25th December to 10th January.
However, Ghani stated that students will not be promoted without taking exams and the examination dates will be rescheduled.
