All of Sindh’s schools and educational institutions have been directed to charge their students monthly fees instead of issuing quarterly or bi-monthly challans, a government notification said.

It has directed private schools to pay full wages on time to their teachers and to other school personnel.

“None of the staff will be terminated during this period as well,” the notification added.

Failure to comply with the orders will result in suspending or even canceling those schools ‘registrations.

The decision was taken to look after the livelihood of school employees. A lockout has been implemented across the province to avoid spread of coronavirus outbreak.
