ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued schedule for the by-election on the vacant seat of Islamabad mayor.

According to the schedule, nomination papers will be received from the candidates on Dec 11. Scrutiny of the papers will be held on Dec 16. Candidates will be allotted election symbols on Dec 22. While, polling will be held on Dec 28.

District Election Commissioner Islamabad has been appointed as the returning officer for the election.
