SBCA demolishes PTI leader Haleem Adil’s farmhouse

KARACHI: A farmhouse owned by PTI’s Haleem Adil Sheikh has been demolished by the Sindh Building Control Authority.
The farmhouse is alleged to be illegally constructed, hence it was demolished during an anti-encroachment operation in the Malir district of Karachi.
According to Haleem Adil Sheikh, the demolishing of his farmhouse is a part of political revenge. The farmhouse belonged to his brother and relatives, he said adding that he would hold a press conference at the Sindh Secretariat in this regard.
However, Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah has said that “the operation is being conducted on order of Prime Minister Imran Khan.”
“We have received no information regarding the demolition of a farmhouse owned by a politician,” he further added while requesting PTI leaders and other politicians to support the Sindh government decision in its operation against encroachments in Karachi.
