Saudi Arabia says no ties with Israel until peace with Palestinians

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has said it was committed to peace between the Palestinians and Israel based on the Arab peace plan.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan speaking at a press conference in Berlin said the Kingdom considers “Israel’s unilateral policies of an annexation and building settlements as illegitimate and detrimental to the two states solution.”
He said once the peace was reached between both the countries, everything was possible.
Until now, Saudi Arabia had maintained silence over ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. However, the recent statement shows that the kingdom is not ready to follow the steps of the UAE.
Israel has stopped annexation of the West Bank for now but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the it was not off the table.
