 Saudi Arabia offers free Umrah visa for FIFA World Cup ticket holders

Good news for Muslim fans traveling to Qatar to watch the FIFA World Cup 2022 as the Saudi government has announced that Muslim ticket holders will be able to perform Umrah without paying for a visa in KSA.

Muslim people with Hayya card can enjoy Umrah for free.

Umrah visa for one year in Makkah will be free for those who have Hayya Card and documents to participate in FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Khaled Al-Shammari, assistant director-general of the general department of visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recently announced that people with a Hayya card can stay in Saudi Arabia for 2 months, the visa will be free for these people, but medical insurance is mandatory for fans.

“There will be no restrictions on the people holding the Hayya card for 2 months, they can come to Saudi Arabia whenever they want and can leave whenever they want,” he added.

Apart from this, people who will participate in the tournament next month can stay in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and United Arab Emirates.
