Saudi Arabia, Kuwait to issue work visas to Pakistanis: interior minister
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed on Tuesday said Saudi Arabia and Kuwait had made commitments to give work visas to Pakistanis.
“Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman has already made such a commitment, whereas Kuwait will announce its policy soon,” Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said while talking to a news channel.
To a query, he said the matter of Shehbaz Sharif’s going abroad was in the court, and the government would accept the decision of the court.
To another query, he said relations between Pakistan and India could not be normalized without resolving the Kashmir issue and that no force could suppress the freedom movement of Kashmiri people.
The minister said the elements involved in the Ring Road corruption case would never escape the law as Prime Minister Imran Khan was committed to continue his fight against the menace.
It is also pertinent here to mention that Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari has resigned from his position until his name is cleared of any allegations regarding Ring Road Project. He said that he was ready to face any inquiry.
