Saudi Arabia enforces 24-hour lockdown in Dammam
Saudi Arabia’s interior ministry has placed a 24-hour curfew in Dammam.
The Saudi authorities have placed the lockdown in the capital of the east province of the Kingdom for a day, according to the information.
The sources said the authorities have absolutely prohibited entry or exit from the area, while movement is allowed for shipping and transporting goods.
The ministry has removed Dammam’s lockdown Al Atheer city, which was introduced on April 15, enabling the city residents to go out to buy their necessary wills from 9 am to 5 pm.
Earlier, to consider the spread of the novel coronavirus, Saudi Arabia has announced a tightening of curfew imposed in the kingdom.
The authorities have to bar entry or exit from Riyadh, Mecca and Medina as well as transfer between all provinces starting on Wednesday, according to the Saudi state press agency.
