Saudi Arabia has announced it will lift travel bans on January 1 to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
According to the news agency, the Saudi Interior Ministry said in a recent statement that from January 1, 2021, airports, ports and border checkpoints across the country will be opened.
According to a Saudi government spokesman, Saudi citizens will be able to travel abroad once the travel ban is lifted, while foreigners will also be allowed to return to Saudi Arabia.
