Sarfraz Ahmed declared as the best captain of PSL
Karachi: Former captain of national cricket team and leader of Quetta Gladiators in PSL Sarfaraz Ahmed has been declared as the most successful captain of 6 seasons of PSL.
Under the leadership of Sarfaraz Ahmed, Quetta Gladiators have won the most 32 matches while the franchise has played a total of 62 matches in the PSL in which they have lost 29 matches.
In Sarfraz Ahmed’s skippership, Quetta Gladiators were runners-up in the finals of 2016 and 2019 while in 2019 they won the title of the event.
In addition, the second most successful captain is former captain of Karachi Kings, Emad Wasim, under whose leadership Karachi Kings played a total of 41 matches in which they won 20 matches. Karachi Kings have also suffered defeat in 17 matches.
Former captain of Peshawar Zalmi Darren Sammy was at the third position in the list under whose leadership Peshawar Zalmi won 22 matches and lost 16 matches while under his leadership Peshawar Zalmi played 39 matches.
Darren Sammy has led Peshawar Zalmi from 2017 to 2020.
