Sarah Inam’s parents to represent themselves in daughter’s murder case

The parents of Sarah Inam have decided to represent themselves in court during the trial in the murder case of deceased daughter, confirmed father Engineer Inam-ur-Rehman.
According to sources, police have been informed about the latest development in this regard.
The police said that the investigation team have recovered the mobile phone used by the Sarah Inam from the farmhouse of husband Shahnawaz Amir.
The postmortem report has confirmed the torture on the body of deceased Sarah, but the final cause of Sarah’s death will be observed from the forensic report.
The police said that the victim’s mobile phone and other information were taken as part of the investigation.
Who was Sarah Inam?
The 37-year-old Sarah Inam belonged to a well-rounded background with a strong professional experience in the Gulf region, Pakistan, and Canada.
Sarah was born in Libya and went to school in Libya and Islamabad.
Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Economics and Business from the University of Waterloo in Canada. She then received her Master’s degree from the same university.
She had also done internships at the University of Waterloo and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
Inam started her career as a junior economist at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Later, she moved to Abu Dhabi and worked for Deloitte as a public policy consultant for four years.
She also worked with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
The case:
On September 23, Pakistani-Canadian national Sarah Inam Khan was brutally murdered by her husband Shahnawaz Amir, who is the son of renowned journalist Ayaz Amir, with a dumbbell at farmhouse in Islamabad.
He confessed to committing the crime and said that he “thought” his spouse was having an affair with someone else.
