Sanam Chaudry wants Joyland to be banned in Pakistan

Sanam Chaudhry, who left the showbiz industry to follow the religious path demanded to ban Saim Sadiq’s Joyland.
The internationally acclaimed film Joyland is under hot waters since its release news in Pakistan.
Last week, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting declared the internationally acclaimed film Joyland ‘uncertified’ for containing ‘highly objectionable content’.
Later, the committee constituted by PM Shehbaz Sharif to review the ban on the film Joyland gave a clearance certificate to the film and it will release all across Pakistan on November 18.
Yesterday, the Punjab government banned the film to release in the province by quoting that persistent complaints were received from different quarters.
Many showbiz stars condemned the ban on Joyland whereas some wanted that the film to be banned in Pakistan.
Recently, Sanam Chaudhry, who left the showbiz industry to follow the religious path raised her serious concerns about the theme of the film Joyland.
In a series of Instagram stories, Sanam urged everyone that “O Muslim, don’t support LGBTQ. Don’t normalize wrongdoings”. She further said that “do not bring Oscar by upsetting your creator”.
