Safety equipment, Ramadan supplies continue to be provided in covid-hit Peshawar: PDMA
PESHAWAR: The Department of Health, hospitals, relevant departments and district administration continue to provide safety equipment for quarantine centers to combat the coronavirus in Peshawar, according to DGPDMA.
A total of 533,000 different types of face masks, 860 liters of sanitizers, 15,140 personal protective kits, 127,000 gloves were provided.
1700 hygiene equipment, 43000 surgical caps, 9270 gowns, 4130 shoe covers, 48000 protective suits, bedsheets with 8200 beds, 870 liter chlorine, 100 thermal guns, and 4500 biohazard bags were provided.
PDMA is currently providing all possible facilities for the front-line management, says the DGPDMA.
Moreover, essential items for Ramadan have been provided to food and quarantine centers, Bakakhel Camp, Central Jail Peshawar, Zamong Kora and Darulaman.
19,000 kilograms of dates have also been provided. 6000 bottles of mineral water, 14000 grams of Lactogro for children, 5520 cans of NFV juice were also delivered. 32,400 powdered milk, 34240 Cyrillic switches including 17856 basic small powdered milk for infants were provided also.
