Saeed Ghani’s two friends shot dead over family enmity

KARACHI: Two brothers were shot dead near Karachi’s FTC Flyover on Monday afternoon.

The brothers have been identified as close friends of Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani and they were allegedly killed over family enmity.

According to the sources, Syed Abid Hussain received bullets on his chest while his brother Syed Sajid Hussain was shot on the nose and arm when a man on motorcycle opened fire on them.

The bodies have been shifted to the hospital to carry out post mortem examination. However, both the brothers died on the spot.

Moreover, the police revealed that they were gunned down due to an old enmity. Four suspects have been arrested. The suspects have been identified as Syed Shahnawaz Shah, Shah Niaz Shah, Rehmat Shah and Muhammad Kamal.
