Royal couple reach Lahore

On the fourth day of the Pakistan tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, arrived in Lahore.
The couple was received by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Sarwar. The couple will have a formal meeting with the governor and chief minister before proceeding to other events.

For her airport look, wore a white long tunic and trousers by Gul Ahmed.


The royal couple went to SOS Children Village to meet orphans and learn about charity.

The UK royals also met the Pakistan cricket officials during the visit to National Cricket Academy and try their hand at the game.
The cricketers who will meet the visiting dignitaries include Hasan Ali, Azhar Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sana Mir, Urooj Mumtaz, Ayesha Zafar, and Pakistan bowling coach Waqar Younis.

The Duke and Duchess will also pay a visit to Lahore’s iconic Mughal-era Badshahi Mosque, where they will attend an event on religious tolerance. They will be received by Khateeb Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad.
The last engagement of the royals in the city is to visit Shaukat Khanum Hospital, founded by Prime Minister Imran Khan and visited by Lady Diana in 1996.
