Three people were killed in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar Tuesday after a section of the roof of an apartment collapsed.

Aurangzeb, his wife Shiza and son Abdul Hadi were named as the victims.

The four-story building was 25 years old, and it is recorded that the roof collapsed as a result of flood. This is in 7th Street.

Residents say the roof was low, and tiled.

Local MNA Alamgir Khan blamed the incident on the KDA and SBCA that permitted illegal buildings to be built.
