Rizwan and Shan’s hard work paid off. Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets

Karachi: In the third match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7, Multan Sultans showed excellent performance and after a thrilling competition, Multan Sultans achieved a target at a loss of 5 wickets.
According to details, match played at National Stadium Karachi, Multan Sultans won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat which scored 206 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Fakhar Zaman scored 76 off 35 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 11 fours while Abdullah Shafiq scored 24, Kamran Ghulam 43, Mohammad Hafeez 16, David Wiese 13 and Rashid Khan 17 runs.
Imran Khan proved to be the most expensive bowler for Multan Sultans who gave 54 runs in 3.4 overs while David Wiese, Shahnawaz Dhani, Imran Tahir, Ehsanullah and Khushdil Shah took one wicket each.
In pursuit of the Lahore Qalandars’ target, Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood showed excellent batting and laid the foundation for the victory by providing a start of 150 runs and achieved the target of 207 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Shaan Masood scored 83 off 50 balls with 1 six and 14 fours and Mohammad Rizwan scored 69 off 42 balls with 3 sixes and 6 fours while Sohaib Maqsood scored 21, Tim David 1 and Khushdil Shah 12 runs.
Shaheen Shah Afridi was the most successful bowler for Lahore Qalandars who guided 3 players to the pavilion for 40 runs in 4 overs while Haris Rauf and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.
