32 workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) have been acquitted by the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in a rioting case on Monday (today).
The TLP workers were accused of a rioting case on April 12, 2021. Kharadar police arrested the 32 workers.
They were produced in the court today where the court has ordered to release the accused.
The court has ordered the release of the accused as there was not enough evidence to prove them guilty of the act.
It should be mentioned that the government agreed to an agreement with the TLP regarding the protests.
As many as 800 TLP workers were released on November 2 from the custody of police after the successful agreement of the government with TLP.
Later, the banned status was revoked from the TLP as their political party status was reinstated.
The leader of TLP, Saad Rizvi was released on November 18 as the government looked to further checkmark the negotiations point with the TLP.
