‘Ring of Fire’ solar eclipse descends upon Pakistan

A solar eclipse has descended upon Pakistan on Thursday morning and said to be the last big celestial event of the year.
In Pakistan, Muslims offered special or Kusoof prayers in various mosques including Islamabad’s Faisal Mosque.
The eclipse was seen all over Pakistan, especially in Karachi and Gwadar. The annular solar eclipse was also visible in eastern Europe, northern and western Australia, eastern Africa, Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean, and much of Asia, including Pakistan.

The solar eclipse was not a total eclipse but an annular one. The sun and the moon were positioned in a way that formed a ‘ring of fire’ as the moon could not completely covered the sun. The edges of the sun were illuminated and were visible in the sky.
Netizens are seen appreciating the solar eclipse and some could not stop complaining about the clouds which covered the sun during the eclipse. Have a look
