Right wing youth activist, Shaheer Sialvi, has asked the government to take action against the organisers of ‘Aurat March‘ for promoting the agenda of homosexuality (LGBT rights) and announced a protest in Islamabad on March 12.
He has further stated that, the protest will be staged from Islamabad’s Press club to D-Chock on 12 march ,after 2 pm, if the government fails to file a FIR.
Many people have taken the matter to twitter, demanding a ban on ‘Aurat March‘ for spreading “obscenity” and “homosexuality”.
The “blasphemous” slogans
Earlier, a video was spread on social media in which the march’s participants were seen chanting “blasphemous slogans against Islam”.
However, it was later revealed that the video’s subtitles and audio were edited and twisted hence the slogans were not blasphemous to any religious figure.
“The original video from #AuratMarch with correct subtitles exposing the malicious and nefarious propaganda against the March organisers,” social media activist and lawyer Jibran Nasir tweeted.
