‘Rickshaw Robbers’ gang arrested in Karachi

Sindh Rangers and Police on Tuesday jointly conducted a raid and arrested 3 suspects of a ‘Rickshaw Robbers’ gang from Sohrab Goth and Hussain Hazara Goth areas of Karachi.
According to Rangers spokesperson, Rangers and police conducted joint operations on the basis of intelligence information and arrested 3 suspects of Rickshaw robbers gang from Sohrab Goth and Hussain Hazara Goth, including the ringleader Sikandar Ali alias Sakoo, Muhammad Rafiq alias Goshu Gopang and Amjad Ali Dayo.
Rs100000, two rickshaws and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the suspects.
During the initial investigation, the suspects confessed that they rob passengers in their rickshaws at Punjab Bus Stand, Al-Asif Square, Water Pump Chowrangi, Saddar, Shahrah-e-Faisal and other areas in Sohrab Goth, and looted cash and valuables from the victims.
The accused told that, they have looted about Rs4-5 million cash and other valusbales from the passengers.
