Rescue 1122 provides coronavirus protective kits to KP quarantine centers
PESHAWAR: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rescue 1122 has provided coronavirus protective kits and equipment to quarantine centers across the province.
According to Director General Rescue 1122 Dr Khateer Ahmad, the rescue service has shifted more than one-thousand suspected patients to the quarantine centers so far.
He said an anti-germs spray campaign was underway across the province to control the spread of this epidemic.
Meanwhile, 29 new coronavirus cases have been reported across the province.
Youth to be made part of Corona Tiger Force irrespective of political affiliation
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the government was fully aware of the problems of the low-income and poor segments of the society due to lockdown and for this purpose Corona Tiger Force was being formulated to address their problems.
He was talking to Special Assistant of the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar in Islamabad on Monday.
The minister said this force would provide food to poor people at their doorstep.
Speaking on the occasion, Usman Dar said the process of formation of Corona Tiger Force had been started on the directives of the prime minister and the youth would be made part of this force, irrespective of political affiliation.
He said the volunteer force would be used to take care of patients under quarantine and to provide ration to homes in case of emergency.
Usman Dar informed the foreign minister that registration of volunteers from across the country will be completed through the Citizens Portal from Mar 31 to April 10.
