 Renowned Pakistani mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara passed away in Skardu

Renowned Pakistani mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara, who had received serious injuries after falling from a mountain, has passed away.

On May 17, mountaineer Ali Raza Sadpara had fallen off a mountain during a routine climbing practice session near his village in Gilgit and sustained serious injuries.

According to the family, Ali Raza, 55, had been involved in mountaineering since 1986. He had climbed four peaks above 8,000 meters 16 times.

Ali Raza Sadpara was eyeing to summit K2 the highest peak in Pakistan this year.

According to the family, the funeral prayer of Ali Raza Sadpara will be offered at 10 am today in Olding Cemetery.
