17th July 2019, the biggest day for Pakistan as the International Court of Justice (ICJ) gave its final verdict in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case.
The verdict turned out to be a massive victory for Pakistan as ICJ ‘rejected’ India’s plea to release Jadhav. The Indian terrorist will stay in Pakistan’s custody but will have access to a counselor according to the law.
According to reports, RAW agent Jadhav had strong connections with terrorist organizations which are banned by Pakistan and his prime agenda was to destabilize Pakistan and isolate Karachi and Balochistan from the country.
Jadhav was arrested by the Pakistan military on the Iran border in 2016. He was charged with terrorism, espionage and sabotage by the counter-terrorism court in Quetta.
Shaheed Qadeer Baloch’s Role in Arresting Kulbhushan Jadhav
ISI appointed Shaheed Capt Qadeer Baloch to track down RAW network in Balochistan. Qadeer was from Khuzdar, Balochistan. He was a baron by birth who individually owned 300 acres of land. Having a luxurious life, Baloch still chose patriotism over luxury. As he belonged to a rich wealthy background, Baloch’s family criticized him for choosing struggle over comfort but he always replied to them by saying,
“I have joined military not to earn money but to protect my motherland”.
He joined Pakistan Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and was later promoted to Captain’s rank. After seeing Baloch’s dedication and love for Pakistan, he was transferred to Inter-Services Intelligence, Pakistan.
Baloch was assigned to track down RAW’s network in Balochistan. As an under cover spy, he costumed as a waste picker for 3 years and searched every corner of Balochistan. A man who had a luxurious life as a civilian, begged to people, slept on a heap of waste and ate rotten food just to track down the network.
In 2016, he accomplished his mission and Jadhav got arrested and in 2018, the brave solider embraced shahdat on his way to Khuzdar from Quetta to spend a vacation with his family when his car’s tire burst due to over speeding.
After ICJ’s verdict on Kulbhushan’s case, Pakistanis are thanking ISI and paying tribute to Qadeer Baloch’s services for the country.
