Reason for the success of PSL 7 is the cause of anxiety for the players
All sorts of events have been affected since the arrival of the new Corona virus variant Omicron, but Pakistan Super League Season 7 continues successfully.
The real reason for the success of the PSL is bio-bubble, which the PCB worked tirelessly to enforce.
But this success of PSL is now becoming a source of concern for the players and especially for the foreign players.
Players have been confined to stadiums and hotels for over a month, leaving many players bored and monotonous.
It is a fact that the PCB has learned a lot from the bitter experience of the past which is not to be underestimated.
Season 5 and 6 of both PSL editions had to be canceled in the middle due to code which was later completed.
Due to this bitter experience, the PCB allotted the entire hotel in Karachi for the first phase of the current season, and the bio-bubble was implemented with strict conditions, even the first violation was committed by an umpire who faced ban.
In the second phase, a separate wing of a private hotel in Lahore was reserved for PCB players and staff.
The PSL is running successfully due to the same restrictions of Bio Bubble, but the players have become bored due to these difficulties.
Other players, especially foreign players Alex Hales and Ben Duckett, are fed up with the strict bio-bubble ban and now want to see more activities from the outside world.
Pakistani players are also tired of being confined to hotels and stadiums but they will have to make this sacrifice for the success of PSL.
The players demand that Corona cases have come down so the PCB should now ease the rigors of the bio-bubble.
