Rawat cop allegedly raped girl in Rawalpindi

In yet another heart-wrenching incident, a policeman has allegedly raped girl after kidnapping her from cousin’s house in Rawalpindi.

The victim girl alleged that the Rawat police station cop has filmed indecent videos of her. She further said the concerned police station did not take the notice of the incident.

City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Syed Shehzad Nadim Bukhari has suspended four police officials, including an officer facing rape charges.

According to the victim girl, she had come from Lahore to stay at her cousin’s house in Rawat for some domestic work.

The girl added that that at night, police officer Raja Saeed broke into the house, kidnapped her and took her to his flat, where cop raped her and filmed the heinous act.

She approached the district magistrate court as police refused to take her case.

The lawyer of the victim girl said that the medical report has proved the girl was raped three times.

The girl has also filed a petition under article 22A for the registration of first information report (FIR) of the rape.
