Some parts of the world’s largest desert, Sahara, have been covered with ice as the temperature dropped to -2C (28F), which led to snowfall in the area.

This season brings snow and ice in different parts of the world. However, deserts located in Africa and Middle East are not usually among them.

It’s quite an unusual sight as Sahara Desert is known for its scorching temperatures.

Meanwhile, people of Saudi Arabia have flocked to witness the rare sight.
