Actor Ranbir Kapoor is likely to replace Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan in third sequel of Farhan Akhter’s ‘Don’.
Producer, writer and director of Don, Farhan Akhtar had cast Khan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles in both parts of the movie. Now rumour has it that the filmmaker may rope in Ranbir Kapoor in the third instalment of the franchise.
Moved by the failure of ‘Zero’, SRK did not sign any new project as he wanted to keep himself away from any film now.
However, Zee News reported, “Reports are on that Shah Rukh Khan is apparently in talks with Rajkumar Hirani for his next. The film will be directed by Hirani and produced under the banner of Red Chillies.”
Going by this news, both the actors will be switching directors for their next, as Ranbir has worked in Hirani’s Sanju, which turned out to be the highest-grosser of last year.
The Sanju actor is presently busy shooting Karan Johar’s ‘Brahmastra’ starring Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.
