Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja said he was shocked to hear that the trio of Haris Rauf, Haider Ali and Shadab Khan in Pakistan tested positive for coronavirus.
“Absolutely shocked to hear that Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Haider Ali have tested positive for Covid-19,” Ramiz tweeted.
“All asymptotic. Wishing them speedy recovery and return to cricket.”
The Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB) had been testing its players for the virus ahead of their England Test and T20I tour. The players affected were advised to go into self-isolation.
Recently, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, and Shadab Khan’s Coronavirus check were positive according to a statement released by the PCB. The three players had shown no signs of COVID-19 before the test.
On Sunday, they were each tested for the virus.
